Daisy Jones & the Six – Summary
Daisy Jones & the Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid is about a band in the 1970s. It’s all about how the members of the band, especially Daisy and Billy, live their lives during their rise to fame.
Daisy Jones & the Six – Book Review
Let me start off by saying this was a good book. Taylor Jenkins Reid did an amazing job and is a really good author. The story was vivid and the characters had real depth and emotion. Character development is usually one of the top things I look for in a book.
The problem is that I just simply didn’t like it. To me, Billy was so self involved that I was surprised to hear that people remained friends with him. Daisy was so strung out and was such a spoiled brat, that I just couldn’t like her. And, I got really sick of hearing about drug use. This book just wasn’t for me.
Daisy Jones & the Six – Audiobook Review
The cast on the audiobook did an amazing job. I loved the voices they brought to the characters. Normally, I don’t love an audiobook with a wide variety of narrators, but it really worked here. I honestly don’t know if I would have finished this book had I been reading a physical copy of it.

Like I said, this was a good book. The writing was good, the scenes were vivid, the characters had depth. I just simply didn’t like it on a personal level.
I’ve seen this book around. Looks good.
Although this wasn’t my favourite TJR read, I did enjoy it. I also enjoyed the miniseries! Nice review.
I absolutely loved the series, we completely binge-watched it. I still haven’t read the book yet though but I really want to get around to it eventually. Shame you didn’t rate it higher but we all have our personal preference!
